May Favourites

Hello there!

It might be an overused phrase, but May has really flown away. It was like two days ago when everybody was throwing around “It’s gonna be May” pictures…oh, the nice times.

So, back to what I was saying, I thought that I might as well share the things I’ve loved in this month!

1. Vintage Geometric Sunglasses

I’ve got these sunglasses from my Granny, who actually bought them in the ’70s, so real treasure over ‘ere! I have been wearing these to death this past month, and I love the vibe they can give to any outfit. I can proudly say that I’ve pulled them off with a double denim set too!

2. Dior Addict Fluid Stick in 389 (Kiss Me)

This has literally been my fav lip product through out the month. It just looks so pretty, fresh, and has an ultimate spring-summer feel to it. I really like it’s consistency and it stays on for a good amount of time, also I love how it’s still a powerful pinky color, because most of the pink lipsticks/lip glosses I’ve tried looked almost invisible or vanished quickly from my lips. Love the applicator too!

3. Pure Coconut Moisture Infusing Shampoo

I wanted to find a shampoo with a slight coconut(y) aroma for a long time, but all the one I’ve smelled were awfully strong. This one, ohoho, this little one! It leaves a subtle smell afterwards, makes my hair soft and shiny, and because it has a fairly big bottle I’m hoping that it will last for ages!

4. A Work in Progress by Connor Franta

I know that I’ve already mentioned this book in my What To Pack for The Hospital post, but I wanted to put in my favourites because it is truly and amazing book. If you have no idea who Connor Franta is, let me help you. He is a YouTuber, and I have been watching him for years. This book is brilliant because we get to know him better, but even when he writes about serious stuff you don’t feel it heavy, so basically he stays true to the Connor we got to know through his videos. The book has photographs taken by him, and I can say that I’ve enjoyed reading and really, just looking at this book a lot.

You can buy the book here!

5. Greenfield Mango Delight Tea

Oh. My. God. This tea.

It tastes like..like good weather, and sun, and happiness. I’ve finished almost two whole boxes of this, and I’m not kidding, I drank one cup every day. Sometimes two. Just to clear it up, I am in love with it. I don’t know what it is that made me totally addicted, but it just brings out such a good feeling in me when I drink it.

6. Classy French Mornings playlist on Spotify

I’ve found this playlist with great French songs on it from Brigitte Bardot, Francoise Hardy, Juliette Gréco and I could go on. The thing is that I have this image of me in an oversized white pyjama button up, in a small kitchen with early morning lighting making coffee and toast while French songs are on in the background, and with this playlist I’ve got quite close to it. I’m so indie.
