August Favourites

Hello there!

I could say that with the end of August, summer ends too, but I’m not going to. Simply because on the first week of September the temperature is going to be around 30 Celsius degrees in Hungary.. We could even hit 36 Celsius degrees!

So with that being said, I don’t think that I’m going to put away my summer clothes right away.

This month’s favourites contain a bit of fashion, a bit of skin care…and a few more things!

1, Backpack from Zara

Since I have been running around, well, the country, this bag came so handy to me. It’s not only useful, but good looking too -with it’s paper bag inspired shape -, so when I discovered it at the end of July, I just knew that I needed this bag. And anyways, a black backpack is kind of a closet staple, no?

The only thing I was a bit unsure of, is the fact that it doesn’t have a zip or magnetic button to seal the bag, only the “strings” that you can pull really tightly to close the bag. But good news, it worked so far for me, nobody stole anything!

2, Wild Argan Oil Body Butter from The Body Shop

I feel like I always start one of my favourites with “Oh My God”, but really… Oh My God!

This body butter makes your body so soft and good smelling that it’s always a sensation when you put it on – I look forward doing it after I get out of the shower, and that is because after you rub it onto your skin, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky.

3, Homemade ice tea

I don’t really drink a lot of fruit teas, I think I’m more of an Earl Grey or English Breakfast kind of gal, or  gimme them green teas, sometimes some mango tea, but yeah, you get the point.

But my parents have a huge collection of every kind of tea, which includes fruit teas too, and as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, it’s HOT in here. The kind of hot where you can’t really sleep either, because it’s more like swimming in a pool – in a pool filled with sweat.

The other day when I got home, my dad welcomed me with one of these and since then, I can’t stop drinking them (for me this means 3-4 in one week).

In top of everything it is soooooo easy to make! All you need is the tea(s) of your choice, boiling water, sugar, lemon, a fridge and patience. And ice cubes!  You can obviously leave out the sugar if your tea is sweet enough as it is, or the lemon, you can do whatever you want! Mix three kinds of teas! Experiment! But don’t forget that you can’t place the tea in the fridge until it cools down, and from there, you just need to wait! When you get it out of the fridge pop a few ice cubes in it, and enjoy your yummy and cold beverage!

4, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

I am in love with this movie! For real.

The story, the actors, the fashion, the humour…EVERYTHING!

Okay, so before you think that I’m nuts, you have to know that I’m really passionate about movies, you could say that I’m a real movie freak. And I’m proud of it.

I have already seen it twice in the cinema, and I’d be lying if I said that I’m not planning on going again!

You need to watch it. (But really tho!)

5, Shoes from F&F

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of shoes like these – and when I found them, they were on sale for only £4!

I immediately bought them, and I’ve been wearing them quite a lot, because they go with everything! And I’m not just saying that, they really do go with everything (outfit post coming soon!)! They can be elegant or casual, which in my opinion is very important – I like to dress elegantly, but I have those days when I just don’t feel like it, and they are still an option on those days!

What were your favourites this month?

Is it terribly hot where you are?
